The RS R Short is like the kid who goes to Stanford: just as smart as the Harvard kid, but determined to make high achievement look easy. What’s obvious about the RS R Short is the loose silhouette and long, 9” inseam. Very day-at-the-beach. But look closer and you’ll notice the zone construction, which provides an excellent anatomic fit and allows for the strategic placement of two mesh panels for improved air flow. The shell is made of Hexlite, which is a very light, quiet material with a soft, silky hand. The liner is a very comfortable, breathable mesh. It may come as some surprise that the RS R Short weighs just 5 oz, which is as light as any shorts we carry. That’s quite an accomplishment. Details include a zippered stash pocket, internal key pocket, a 1” elastic waist with internal drawstring, and 2” side-seam notches. No hand pockets.
