Icebreaker’s GT range oozes athleticism. Whereas Icebreaker Bodyfit tops are baselayers that can perform solid secondary duty as standalone tech tops, their GT cousins are just the reverse. The differences that distinguish the GT line from the Bodyfit include a slightly looser (though still trim) cut, ventilating panels, and reflective details. Of course, GT tops are made of Icebreaker’s amazing merino wool, which feels and performs exceptionally well. If your GT top becomes a favorite, don’t worry: given the natural odor resistance of wool, it won’t have to do much hamper time.
GT tops are offered in a variety of weights and neck types, so there’s a style for pretty much any weather condition and personal preference. (When shopping Icebreaker, remember, lower numbers mean lighter weight.) Flat seams and seamless underarm gussets maximize comfort.
