This is the burliest trail running shoe in the La Sportiva lineup. Or any other lineup, for that matter. From the ground up, the Ultranord is built to thrive on long trail runs in wet or snowy conditions; also a good companion for snow shoes. The Ultranord will make you look good when the weather is at its worst.
Features include waterproof Gore-Tex XCR lining and a beefy triple-density midsole. Keep out crud by attaching the included gaiters to the integrated loops. The Ultranord features a roomier toe box and more cushion than Sportie's racing shoes, but still offers a nimble, firm ride. Surprisingly light for being so burly.
