Icebreaker’s GT range oozes athleticism. Whereas Icebreaker Bodyfit tops are baselayers that can perform solid secondary duty as standalone tech tops, their GT cousins are just the reverse. The differences that distinguish the GT line from the Bodyfit include a slightly looser (though still trim) cut, ventilating panels, and reflective details. Dash tops also have an elasticized stash pocket on the hip. Of course, GT tops are made of Icebreaker’s amazing merino wool, which feels and performs exceptionally well. Don’t be surprised if your GT top becomes a favorite. Which is okay, since, given the stink-resistance of wool, it won’t have to do much hamper time.
GT tops are offered in a variety of weights and neck types, so there’s a style for pretty much any weather condition and personal preference. (When shopping Icebreaker, remember, lower numbers mean lighter weight.) Flat seams and seamless underarm gussets maximize comfort.
