Product Description
A lightweight performance trainer, the Fireblade is an amazing all-around trail running shoe. If you have low-volume feet and prefer a racy fit and a firm, tactile connection to the trail, you will love these shoes. Love them.
Also very appropriate for race day use, especially when the distance is significant and the terrain is technical. When a heady combination of endurance and speed is called for and you know you are going to have to reach deep, reach for your Fireblades first.
The design approach that makes the magic happen is beautiful in its simplicity. The triple density midsole and hardy outsole protect the foot nicely. The stretch mesh tongue guard keeps out dirt, pebbles and other trail debris.
The outsole has relatively little lugging. Though it may be counterintuitive at first glance, this design actually improves traction on many surfaces -- hard pack or rock, especially -- since the contact patch between shoe and trail is much greater than for shoes with deeper lugs.
Find your perfect fit with the additional sizes of the Euro range. See the image above for size conversion chart (select chart image then double-click to enlarge). Size chart is generally true to size; err on the large side if you are between sizes.
