Only in the past few years did I realize how much having a bag like this simplifies the getaway and contains the dirty, sweaty aftermath of a backcountry outing.
The key is the balance between whiz-bang features and simplicity. Bags with too many separate compartments give me a headache. (What exactly am I supposed to be putting in this one?) Too few packing zones and worlds collide, so to speak. With a large main compartment and front zip pocket, the Swag-O-Bago walks this line to perfection.
I also like the mesh side panels and two water bottle pockets. Light and breezy is good. And what could be more utilitarian than a draw string designed to double as shoulder straps?
